During the 1920's chassis' were imported from England and MORSE built bodies were fitted to suit local markets. The progression into the automotive era had begun with the business employing blacksmiths, trimmers, painters and body builders. With the advent of the motor vehicles and trucks, becoming the major form of transport so was the need for a specialist repair industry.
